Our colleague, Jacob Siara, has been awarded Chartered financial planner status!

Jacob has worked incredibly hard and shown enormous dedication

Jacob joined us in 2021 as a trainee paraplanner after completing his bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance.

Straight away, his eye for detail and enthusiasm for financial planning made him an invaluable member of the team.

In his role, Jacob has been responsible for researching tailored solutions, analysing financial models, and preparing reports. After a financial planner completed our fact-find with a client, Jacob would build the cashflow models and assess any opportunities available.

This expertise played a vital role in helping our clients make informed decisions.

Since joining, Jacob has completed his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and in July, he was awarded Chartered status.

He is now in the process of transitioning into a financial planner role, working directly with clients to help them achieve their goals.

Chartered status is the gold standard of financial planning

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has been raising standards in the financial services profession for many years now, with permission to issue the Chartered title since 2005.

Chartered status is essentially the “gold standard” of our profession. It’s awarded to planners who have demonstrated advanced technical knowledge, a strong adherence to an ethical code, and a commitment to putting clients first.

To achieve it, planners must complete extensive qualifications, become a member of the Personal Finance Society, and demonstrate significant professional experience.

It’s a clear sign that you, as a client, are working with someone with the expertise to provide high-quality and trustworthy advice.
